Our Pastor

God called Doug Stokes, his wife Melanie along with their children, back to Porterville, Mississippi almost three years ago, to begin pastoring a small church called Harvestime. God gave Doug and Melanie a vision of a place that would be called Cross Mountain. Through that vision, God is using a small group of people at Harvestime to join together to fulfill His purpose. In Jeramiah 33:3 God has promised that if we would call upon Him that He would show us great and mighty things we know not of. This can truly be seen with what God is doing here. As we continue with what God has called us to do, our ministry will encompass a place for youth camps, concerts, marriage retreats, wildlife extravaganzas, outdoor shows and ministry, hunting expeditions, trail rides, a lake with cabins and rv camping, and any other way that we may reach souls for the Kingdom.

We are breaking denominational barriers and "church" as usual. We give all the glory to Jesus Christ, for without Him, none of this would be possible. It's all about Him......
